How to access your SMS messaging from ‘Consult Requests’ or ‘PatientsPRO’
Steps to Sending an SMS through ‘Consult Requests’ (Basic or Pro)
Step 1 – Go to ‘Consult Requests’ in your left-hand menu
Step 2 – Click on the patient’s status (i.e. ‘Awaiting Consult’)
Step 3 – Click ‘Start an SMS conversation’
- This will bring you to the messaging section, where you can send your desired message.
Steps to Sending an SMS through ‘PatientsPro’ (Pro only)
Step 1 – Go to ‘PatientsPro’ in your left-hand menu
Step 2 – Click the little ‘message’ icon in the same row as the patient you wish to contact
- This will bring you to the messaging section, where you can send your desired message.
You can always come back to a previous conversation you or a teammate has started with a patient by clicking on ‘Messaging’ from the left-hand menu.
