Zack Parker (Yammer) Joins SmileSnap in VP of Engineering Role
DENVER, USA, April 1, 2020 -- SmileSnap, a leader in virtual dental and orthodontic consultations and visits, announced it has appointed Zack Parker to the VP of Engineering role reporting directly to Co-Founder and CTO, Jameson Stafford. Parker joins at a time when SmileSnap is rapidly transforming the tele-dentistry industry. He brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience coming from Yammer, Cotap, and BitGo.

Parker's most notable accomplishment was guiding the development of Yammer, an enterprise social networking service used for private communication within organizations. As the first employee hired and the Senior Director of Engineering from 2008 to 2013, when they were acquired by Microsoft for $1.2 billion. Yammer is now used by 85% of Fortune 500 companies and is currently included in every Enterprise subscription of Microsoft Office.
Parker was most recently at BitGo, serving as VP of Engineering. Prior to BitGo, he co-founded Cotap, Inc. with fellow Yammer Executive and Chief Product Officer, Jim Patterson. Cotap, Inc. raised over $16.5m in venture funding before being acquired by ServiceMax.
